Dr Vanguard Mkosana has 20 years of experience at a senior and top management level. He has extensive experience as a social entrepreneur, having served at executive level in the trade union movement in South Africa and a broad, as a general secretary of the South African Congress of Writers and lastly as a public servant. He served as the Head of the Provincial Department of Transport in the Eastern Cape, The Deputy Director-General In the national Department of Labour for policy implementation and thereafter served as the Director-General of the National Department of Labour. Vanguard has an HR Management Diploma, a Wits-Harvard Senior Executive Program, an MA and a Ph.D. Dr Mkosana chairs The Human Capital group.

Brian Wasmüth is the founding partner of The Human Capital Group. Brian has extensive experience as a senior and top executive in commerce and industry. His extensive consulting portfolio includes organisation and management consulting, strategy, leadership, executive search, executive coaching and general business consulting. His experience coupled with his honours degrees in the Social Sciences and Business Administration and an MBA gives him a keen intuition to the business requirements of his clients. Brian is the Managing Director of The Human Capital Group.

Imani Alexander has a long history in the financial services industry with extensive executive experience in its corporate support functions, i.e. strategy, human resources, communication and stakeholder relations, governance, research and development, information technology and finance. She was the first woman and first African on the executive committee in the office of the Auditor- General. Here, she championed the use of strategic and performance management processes while enterprise-wide risk management was developed as a key management and reporting tool. Her passion has been the coupling of corporate entrepreneurship and good governance for the success of business transformation. Imani has a bachelor degree in Economics and has does post graduate studies in Economics. She is completing her MBA.

Shalandi Jonker is a seasoned human capital management executive who has worked in commerce and industry in South Africa and outside of South Africa. Shalandi holds a bachelor's degree in the social sciences and is in the process of completing an MBA. Her experience entails the entire spectrum of human capital management activities at general staff level as well as at executive level. Shalandi is also a trained assessment centre professional. In addition she is also an accredited CPA practitioner

Dilly Skosana is a seasoned human capital management professional who is well versed in all areas of human capital management and operations and human-capital administration as well as the human capital recruitment front. Dilly has extensive experience in operations management, project management and start-up management in the human resources environment. She holds several human resource related qualifications. She has worked extensively in both the public sector, the quasi-government sector as well as the private sector.

Johan Greeff is a leadership and management, organisation development and change management and transformation specialist and has practised worldwide in this regard. Johan holds several degrees and is a qualified clinical psychologist.

Ruth Tearle is a strategy, change management, innovation and leadership specialist and has practised in this regard locally and internationally for the past 20 years. Ruth holds several degrees, including an MBA.

Marian Botha is a human resource management, organisation development and psychometric professional who has been working in these fields for the past 15 years. She provides solutions across the full human capital value chain spectrum.

Mike Brewis, who was the chief executive officer and managing director of a large life insurance company in so Africa, is a qualified actuary and a seasoned executive in commerce and industry. Besides being part of the actuarial placement function in the group, Mike is also involved in leadership development and change management and transformation which are his passions. Michael also engages in actuarial consulting.

Gavin Griffin is a business consultant who specialises in financial strategy oriented assignments. He is an experienced executive who has held senior and top level positions in commerce and industry. Gavin has in depth specialist experience in the healthcare insurance and administration industry he holds a B.Com degree, a B.Com Honours in Accounting a CTA and is a qualified CA. Gavin has extensive experience in respect of due diligence exercises, business process optimisation, specific and targeted audit projects and financial turnaround exercises.

Dr Norman Chorn is a strategy and organisation development practitioner with some 20 years experience in Australia, UK, New Zealand and South Africa. After leaving a leading consulting firm in 1994, Norman founded the Centre for Corporate Strategy, a strategy and research firm based in North Sydney with affiliations in UK and North America. Norman holds a BA in Economics & Sociology, a postgraduate diploma in Management, an MBA, and a PhD. Norman's work has three primary areas of focus:

  • Creating strategy for growth and resilience.
  • Developing innovative organisations and structures -- organisation development and change.
  • Developing leadership skills with particular reference to strategic leadership

Willie Burger is a chartered accountant with extensive experience in general accounting, management accounting and auditing. In addition, his passion lies in governance and risk management. Willie is engaged in extensive consulting to companies in the financial management arena.

Shafaa Gamieldien is a risk management and compliance specialist with extensive experience in risk management, governance and compliance and business process analysis/process re- engineering. She holds a B.SC degree as well as an MBA.

Pascaline Tshikilanga is a qualified industrial engineer whose primary focus in the team relates to business analysis, process engineering and process re-engineering. Pascaline has significant experience in business analysis and process engineering in the human capital management environment.

Dr Gustav Pistorius is a professional engineer who specialises in business improvement, creative problem solving and risk management. Gustav holds several degrees , including a degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBL and a D.Tech degree.

Steven Barnard is a project management specialist who has managed projects across a broad front in commerce and industry, also under the auspices of some of the major consulting and project management houses.

Siegfried Wasmüth is a young network professional who supports and assists principals on the information technology front. He holds qualifications in information technology environment.

Andre van Rensburg is a seasoned human capital management executive who has held top level swell as in the general management environment. Andre holds a B.Com degree as well as an honours degree in industrial psychology and is in the process of completing a Masters degree in industrial psychology.

Erika Bester is a labour law specialist who has been active in the labour law arena for the past 18 years. She holds a Bachelor of Law degree as well as a B.Proc degree, A Diploma in Labour Law and a diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Jan Rhoodie has been extensively involved in a broad range of industrial relations in Labour lawmakers since 1995. He holds a Bachelor of Law Degree as well as a LLB degree. He also has a diploma in Advanced Labour Law.

Gerhard Gertenbach is a labour law practitioner with extensive experience in both the private and the public sectors. He holds several degrees including a B.Iuris, BA (Honours) In Labour Relations, a Masters in Labour Relations and an M.Phil In Business Ethics.
